Registration Notice in mail

Voters throughout the state are receiving a new Voter Registration Notice as a result of the redistricting of congressional, legislative, and county supervisor districts.  Floyd County’s move into new General Assembly districts has been reported earlier, but for folks close to a supervisor district boundary this may be the first notice that your voting place has changed.  The notice is a small mailer, so make sure you don’t mistake it for an advertisement and toss it out.  You’ll still need your usual identification when you go to vote.  Most of us will use a driver license, but for details on other identification that’s accepted, see this page at iwillvote.com.
