Mailers landed in our boxes today describing candidates in a special election in the Virginia Beach area.  They were addressed to folks in the new state Senate District 7, which would include Floyd County.  Problem is, the election is for the OLD District 7, out east where Jen Kiggans gave up her seat to run for Congress.  So unless you’re moving to the coast this week, please do not request a ballot for the Jan. 10 voting.
